What if we’re really bad at dancing?
Most of our couples start exactly there. Our system is designed for complete beginners — and we adapt everything to your comfort level.
What if we don’t have much time before the wedding?
That’s common. We structure lessons to make fast, meaningful progress without overwhelming you.
We’re total beginners. Will this work for us?
Absolutely! Most couples we work with are complete beginners. Roger’s step-by-step approach ensures you feel comfortable and confident, no matter your starting point.
What if we don’t have a song yet?
No problem at all! Roger can help you pick a song that fits your style and personality — or we’ll help edit your chosen song to make it perfect for your dance.
How long will it take to learn the choreography?
With 10 private lessons, most couples feel ready in about 2–3 months, but we’re flexible to your schedule — and you’ll have practice videos to make sure you feel 100% confident.
Where are the lessons held?
Lessons are taught in Vancouver, BC. We’ll share the full address once you book, and if needed, we can explore options for virtual coaching!
What happens if we have to reschedule?
Life happens — we get it. You can reschedule your session with advance notice, subject to availability. We’ll always do our best to accommodate your new date so your first dance stays stress-free and on track. Just let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Do we have to memorize the entire dance?
Don’t worry — Roger’s method breaks down each step so you’re never overwhelmed. By the end of the lessons, it will feel natural and fun!
Can we book additional lessons if needed?
Yes! You can always add extra lessons for $120 each if you’d like more practice or want to learn a second dance.
Will we get a video of our dance?
Yes — we’ll provide practice videos of your choreography so you can rehearse at home and feel completely confident.
Is this only for weddings?
While it’s designed for weddings, Roger can also help you create a special dance for anniversaries, vow renewals, or any event where you want to shine.
How far in advance should we start lessons?
We recommend starting 2–3 months before your wedding. But if your wedding is sooner, don’t worry — we’ll find a way to make it work!
